Monkey On Your Back

Fletcher and Luke both got furry monkeys at Fletcher's End Of Preschool Fun Day. They are the kind of monkeys that have velcro on their hands and feet so you can attach them to things. Who knew such a cheap little trinket could provide hours (literally) of entertainment at our house.

Most recently, they've been wearing them around their necks as capes. They run around the house yelling. Super Monkey Boys. (They do alot of non-purposeful yelling with or without monkeys on their backs. Our house is an acoustical dream. I've given up trying to make them stop.)
I tried to get pictures, but Luke wouldn't stop playing long enough to pose. He wouldn't even look at the camera. Fletcher, on the other hand, wanted to be sure his knife and his tough-guy face got into the picture.

I'm sensing we might need some superhero capes in the near future.
