That's how many books Fletcher and I (and sometimes Luke) have read for kindergarten this year. His class had a passport with two parts to it. In the first part, every 300 pages equaled one continent. So we made it to 2100 pages. In the second part, every 10 picture books (or chapters if it was a chapter book) equaled one state with the goal of getting 50 states. It seems easy enough because we own lots of books; we have a county library and a school library. However, we were limited to books that were on the school's Great Book List or the books in the school library or by the authors in the library. We were able to get all of our continent "stamps" and all of our state "stamps". Fletcher and I have always loved to read together ever since he was a baby. I hope that tradition continues even when he learns to read independently.

For posterity's sake, here's our list. In hindsight I wish I would have kept up with the authors too. Oh well...
