The Conversation
Me (while hugging Fletcher): Will you still hug and kiss me when you are a teenager?
Fletcher: Yes, if you are not dead yet.
The Analysis
Either he thinks becoming a teenager is a really, really looooooooong time from now.
Or since he already knows my age and reminds me of it frequently, he thinks I am so old already that I have one foot in the grave and I'm not looking so good.
Either way, I'm going to be a "glass is half full" kind of gal and be thankful that I have written proof that he will still hug and kiss me when he is a teenager.
As long as I am still alive and kicking. And can remember that I wrote this blog post.
