Miss America!
I loved watching the Miss America pageant when I was a kid. It was fun to try to pick the winner especially when they started showing the scores that the judges were giving. I loved watching the talent competitions. Twirling fire batons, tap dancing, opera singing, piano playing. It was a great way to spend two hours of my life. Oh and don't forget the hair!
Apparently the 2011 Miss America pageant was just on a few weeks ago and I missed it. (Kevin is so thankful). Another blog (BooMama) reminded me of the good ol' pageant days.
This, my friends, was quality television. And it is even better because she is from my home state (sadly, she did not win even with all of this raw talent and big hair).
