"Three Dimensional Replica" aka "Diorama"

He's a first born.  His mother has neurotic tendencies.  We might need an intervention. 
When I was a teacher, I assigned math related projects to my students all the time.  I believed it was good for them and allowed those who were more creative and artsy to feel successful in a very structured mathematical environment.  I am regretting that decision now that I am on the other side.  I guess this is payback.

Of course, we will post pictures of the completed project.  I promise I am trying really hard to abide by the "let them do most of the work" directions.
